Function: For endurance, treats premature ejaculation (PE) in men aged 18 to 64. It is the only medication approved for treating PE in various countries.
Duration: The half-life is approximately 19 hours. Most people may still experience endurance effects for about a day after taking it.
Usage: It is recommended to take it 1-2 hours before sexual activity for best results. Start with 30mg (half a tablet) and adjust dosage based on effects. Take only once daily, with a maximum dose of 60mg.

Contraindications
1. POXET is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Dapoxetine hydrochloride or any excipients.
2. POXET is contraindicated in patients with significant cardiac pathology [e.g., heart failure (NYHA II-IV), conduction abnormalities without a permanent pacemaker (grade 2 or 3 AV block or sick sinus syndrome), significant myocardial ischemia, and valvular disease].
3. POXET should not be used with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or within 14 days after stopping MAOI treatment. Similarly, MAOIs should not be used within 7 days after stopping POXET (see Drug Interactions).
4. POXET should not be used with thioridazine or within 14 days after stopping thioridazine treatment. Similarly, thioridazine should not be used within 7 days after stopping POXET (see Drug Interactions).
5. POXET should not be used with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors [SSRIs, SNRIs, tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs)] or other drugs/herbal products with serotonergic effects [e.g., L-tryptophan, triptans, tramadol, linezolid, lithium, St. John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum)], or within 14 days after stopping these drugs/herbal products. Similarly, these drugs/herbal products should not be used within 7 days after stopping POXET (see Drug Interactions).
6. POXET is contraindicated in patients taking strong CYP3A4 inhibitors such as ketoconazole, itraconazole, ritonavir, saquinavir, telithromycin, nefazodone, nelfinavir, and atazanavir.
7. POXET is contraindicated in patients with moderate to severe hepatic impairment.
